On Wednesday (August, 17th) the atmosphere was very different in the field of Strada Budi Luhur. The teachers and staffs wore traditional clothes from various regions to celebrate the commemoration of the most historic day of Indonesia, namely the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
This year’s commemoration is carried out in more festive than the previous two years which were hampered by the pandemic. This year, all the teachers and staffs were on traditional clothes from various regions. This is a very special moment for the academic community of the Strada Budi Luhur. The flag ceremony was carried out lively and solemnly by all the participants of who were representatives of several school units located in the Strada Budi Luhur complex.
The Today’s theme of the Independent day commemoration is Recover Faster, Rise Stronger. It means that in the 77th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day, there are 7 philosophies in number 7. It explains the significance of the two philosophies described. The first is the Fighting Spirit of Garuda Pancasila, slashes and sharp angles which means the spirit of the fighters to rise up stronger and tougher. The second is the Indonesian Unity, the silhouette of the number one in the logo of the 77th Indonesian Independence Day has a philosophical meaning which means the spirit of Unity in Diversity. There are 7 philosophies of the 77th Indonesian Independence Day, they are Acceleration and Movement, Progress and Development, Democracy and Openness, Tha Fighting Spirit of Garuda Pancasila, Synergy and Hope. Unity between Indonesia and all the Nations. Hopefully, the condition of Indonesia can really recover and rise up faster.
